About Us
We are a couple who split their time between the Hawaiian Islands and points in between. We have found that there is truth in what Emerson had to say, ”life is a journey, not a destination”.
Though, we should note, he failed to warn that there is no cure once one becomes addicted to the journey! The symptoms are only just made bearable by the planning of the next expedition and the review of pictures taken of past adventures. Be they around our islands or around the world.
It is our pleasure to share our islands, musings, travels and pictures with you. A portion of our revenue from all of our websites is donated to local charities.

Did you know that Pacific Oysters were introduced from Japan? They develop first as males, then after a year begin to function as females. Whichever their sex, these were very tasty!
